Recycling is available in all academic buildings on campus. All housing living center units contain recycling bins or offer multi-bin waste collection in their parking lots. Mary Idema Pew Library and the Kirkof Center offer multiple locations to drop off recyclable materials, compostable materials, and household batteries.
In Ottawa County
Ottawa County offers household recycling disposal at its environmental sustainability centers for a membership fee. They also offer free hazardous waste disposal to all residents, accepting materials such as aerosols, motor oil, fluorescent tube light bulbs, oil-based paint, televisions, computers, and more.
